Evangelist Jason Betler has been preaching in Asia since 2005. Since then, The Nations Hope continues to witness thousands of people receive salvation through Jesus Christ.
Jason's Story
Jason Betler is evangelist for The Nations Hope; a ministry reaching people with the today’s news about Jesus Christ.
Jason was born in the Northeastern part of the United States near Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Raised in a small church, he became familiar with the word of God and the hymns. However, it was not until later that he came to faith in Christ.
Jason responded to Jesus’ call of salvation and was born into God’s family at a music audition in Baltimore, Maryland (USA) in 1993. “It was a life-changing experience,” Jason recalls. “Jesus found me right where I was. No church service or preacher; just Jesus and me. I had prayed, saying ‘Jesus, I could use you right now.’ It was not the most elegant prayer, but apparently that was all Jesus needed. Jesus stepped into my life and I suddenly felt so clean inside! I was forgiven of all guilt and I knew it. I also remember feeling loved like never before. It was amazing. My whole world was changed in a single moment.” Jason quickly became a vocal advocate of the gospel to his classmates. He was a sophomore, studying music at Indiana University of Pennsylvania (USA) during that time. In 1996 Jason graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in music performance from the University.
Jason relocated to Orlando, Florida (USA) in 1997. Soon he was involved with various ministries teaching, preaching and was involved in the music ministry of the local church. Five years later, he joined the team of Christ for all Nations, serving as Personal Assistant to founding German Evangelist Reinhard Bonnke.
"God used Evangelist Reinhard Bonnke to take my foot off the brake pedal and put it on the gas pedal," Jason comments. “We are close friends and I feel as if I have a second father. But more than that, the Holy Spirit has somehow connected us and it is for the purpose of seeing the lost enter into the kingdom of God. I love Reinhard and thank God for him every day."
It was during his time with Evangelist Bonnke that Jason caught the vision to form a ministry having a similar evangelistic nature and to focus on reaching the people in the eastern parts of Asia.
Jason also met Angelique during his tenure with Christ for all Nations. Angelique was working in the Christ for all Nations office in Frankfurt, Germany. She and Jason met and were were married eight months later in Florida, USA in 2003.
Today, Jason and his wife Angelique now live in Singapore. They have a daughter, Juoleanne and two sons, Jonathan and Jeremiah.
Jason holds a Master of Arts in Christian Ministry from the Assemblies of God Theological Seminary (AGTS) in Springfield, Missouri, United states of America.
Jason's ministry focuses on salvation, evangelism, faith and the Holy Spirit.
The Nations Hope is actively declaring the gospel of God with power. Lives are being saved and changed forever.
