This new year will be an exciting one for The Nations Hope. As I pray about coming events, I expect several things to happen:

  1. Singapore will become more than a home base for us. It will also become an active place of ministry in many local churches and ministries.
  2. Evangelism training will start in Singapore and expand internationally by end of 2012.
  3. Our Hope Festival campaigns will continue and become more fruitful than ever before!

I am so thankful to all our ministry partners. You are such a blessing. What a joy it is to reach the end of 2011 and gaze with earnest expectation at all the Lord will do through us in 2012!

Starting in 2012, The Nations Hope will add a new dimension to our ministry by equipping the body of Christ to share the good news.  

“I AM A WITNESS”

“I Am A Witness” is a program that will empower believers to share Christ effectively and with confidence. The training is available to churches or groups of believers.

Training will launch in Singapore in February. We also plan to make available weekend outreaches for more intensive training that will encourage faith and sense of mission.

As we prepare for an outreach event, we have to make many decisions. In this case, regarding the upcoming Hope Festival in Merauke, Indonesia, we have had to make the decision to postpone until a later date. (We are hoping for early 2012.)

This is a difficult decision that was necessary due to changing local circumstances and also the delayed pace of raising the budget for this event. Our Hope Festivals are done with the partnership of local churches whenever possible. This works best in most situations. In this special case, however, it was agreed by myself, our Indonesian representative and the local committee in Merauke to postpone.

Please note that the resources given for Merauke will still be used for this event. We are still very optimistic that the outreach to Merauke will take place in the near future and be very fruitful. This is merely a postponement.

No one likes delays, but we must accept them when necessary. However, our faith never waiver. Jesus saves!
